Man Faces Child Porn Charges

NRP made the arrest in Welland

Police making another dent in the quest to bring those involved in child pornography to justice.

Last month, police began an investigation with Brantford police over the sexual exploitation of children over the internet, which led them to search a home in Welland on Saturday.

Police found a number of electronic devices, and arrested 41-year old Jordan R. Gauthier, of Welland, he is charged with:

  • Possession of Child Pornography x 2
  • Accessing Child Pornography
  • Making Child Pornography Available

He had a bail hearing the next day.
