Dale King has been found not guilty in the shooting death of Yosif Al-Hasnawi.
King was charged with second-degree murder, after the 19-year-old Brock University student was fatally shot in December 2017.
The 21-year-old had said he shot Al-Hasnawi in self defense.
Al-Hasnawi had shouted at King and his friend for bothering an old man outside a mosque in Hamilton.
King punched the Brock student, and ran off.
Al-Hasnawi chased him and King shot at him while running away.
King learned his fate in a Hamilton courtroom yesterday.
Two paramedics charged with failing to provide the necessaries of life will start their trial in January.
