Charges have been laid after several poppy boxes were reported stolen in Niagara Falls.
The NRP heard about the first incident on Saturday November 9th. Similar thefts were reported from three other businesses over the next two days.
Officers were called out to another theft yesterday afternoon, at a hotel in the Victoria Ave and Magdalen Street area.
Police say it had just happened, and they were able to arrest a 26-year-old man a short distance away.
They say he was carrying stolen credit cards and identification at the time.
He has been charged with multiple offences; including theft under $5,000, identity fraud and possession of property obtained by crime.
