Police say a school was put in a Hold and Secure, after a call about unwanted intoxicated man
A family violence call to police in West Lincoln this morning led to a Hold and Secure of a nearby school.
Police got the call just before 8, about the caller wanting an unwanted drunk man removed from the home.
Before they got there, police say he left in a pickup truck, believed to have a gun, but he was also making statements concerning his personal safety, but also for the community, and responding officers.
Due to where this was happening, police put a nearby school in Hold and Secure as a precaution.
Police say they found the truck, empty, and a search turned up gun magazines and ammunition. They found the man in a wooded area, and eventually got him to surrender.
They've charged Christopher Morley with possession of a dangerous weapon, who has a bail hearing tomorrow.
