Police seize about $2,000 worth of suspected fentanyl
A Niagara Falls man is facing drug charges.
Earlier this month, police began an investigation into the distribution of drugs throughout Niagara Falls.
On January 18th, a search warrant was conducted inside a motel room in the area of Lundy's Lane and Montrose Road.
Detectives say 18.6 grams of suspected fentanyl was found.
The estimated street value is $2,000.
Todd Walter Petkovich, 59, faces the following charges:
- Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with probation order (2 counts)
He was released on a Form 10 Undertaking, and is due in court on March 23rd.
