Yesterday was deadline for workers to get at least one dose
Yesterday was the first day workers in long term care homes had to prove they had received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine to remain on the job and the province is reporting most complied
Long term care Minister Rod Phillips telling reporters there were less than a dozen homes that required provincial assistance to make sure they had adequate staffing levels.
Philips adds most of those facilities were in rural areas.
Overall, the government says 98 per cent of workers had received a first shot as of yesterday.
Workers have until December 13th to prove they are double vaxed.
