Niagara Parks will be holding it's annual monarch butterfly release today.
Members of the public are welcome to stop by the Butterfly Conservatory this afternoon where they can tag their own butterfly.
This will allow researchers to track the butterfly as it flies south to Mexico for the winter.
It all starts at 12:30 p.m. and butterflies will be released every half hour leading up to 4:00 p.m.
It's free to participate and masks are mandatory.
