Ontario is confirming 2,791 new cases of COVID-19 today.
The death toll has risen to 8,143 after 25 more people died.
There are over 2,100 individuals fighting the virus in hospital, with more than a third in ICUs.
Toronto, Peel, York Region, Durham and Hamilton are reporting about three-quarters of today's new cases.
