Another person with COVID-19 has passed away in Niagara.
Public Health says there are 540 confirmed cases of the virus in the Region, including 53 deaths.
There have been 382 positive tests at Niagara Health sites, 34 people with COVID-19 are being treated in local hospitals.
In Niagara, 345 people have recovered.
That’s about 64 per cent of the total number of cases.
About 83 per cent of the deaths in the Region have been residents of long-term care and retirement homes.
