Niagara’s COVID-19 numbers shot up yesterday after a week of only single-digit increases.
Public Health reported 12 new cases of the virus bringing its total to 575.
This includes 421 resolved cases and 55 deaths.
Niagara Health is reporting 414 positive tests at its sites and 39 deaths.
Thirty-eight people are being treated in local hospitals.
