Showcase will be attended by scouts, General Managers and National Lacrosse League coaches
Lacrosse players will be heading to St. Catharines to show off their skills.
The Tewaaraton Lacrosse League, in partnership with the National Lacrosse League (NLL), will be hosting a player prospect showcase event at the Meridian Centre August 21st and 22nd.
Scouts, coaches and NLL general managers will watch players from across North America as they look to increase their draft position and further their careers.
The event is being held in anticipation of the 2021 entry draft.
Eighty players will be allowed to participate in the two-day showcase, which will feature live games following NLL rules.
Players who want to take part can sign up here.
NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz says this is a great way to find new talent in the game.
"On behalf of the National Lacrosse League we are excited to support this showcase of talent. This is another chance for our coaches and GM’s to see some of the best young talent in North America. Partnering with the TLL and events like these helps ensure that outstanding players get seen for an opportunity to catch the eye of our coaches, GM’s and scouts and fulfill the dream of playing in the NLL someday."
