Bravehearts Gala to support services for children who've been victim or witness to abuse
A very important evening is coming November 7th, in support of the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre.
Development Director Kim Rossi says it's the Bravehearts Gala, to help maintain one on one services offered to children who've witnessed or been victim of violence, abuse, human trafficking.
She says the children have been referred through police investigations. "If you're familiar with the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre, you know our partnership with Niagara Regional police allows them to conduct these investigations with the young victims at our centre, in a more warm, safe, home-like atmosphere."
She says three Canadian acts will perform, along with a surprise headliner.
"Celina Wolfe, who hails from Montreal; John Fellner from London, Ontario; and Ryan Langdon, who we had the pleasure of having in Niagara, but was born in Burlington. And, we've even created a playlist in advance, so if you're not familiar with their music, we want you to get familiar."
She says that playlist is found on Spotify under Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre.
