Health Canada says testing conducted by the company detected elevated levels of benzene, which may produce serious health risks.
The recall, which is also occurring in the U.S., includes both children and adult sunscreens.
Health Canada recommends broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
