The city of Welland and its Intercountry Baseball League team have inked a new multi year lease deal
The Welland Jackfish will call the Welland Stadium home for the next few years.
The two reached an agreement on a six year lease running through the 2026 season.
The Jackfish also plan to bring non-baseball events to the facility including festivals, an annual cornhole tournament, and yoga on the field.
Baseball events at the stadium also include the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
