A $1-million donation handed over to Niagara Health Foundation and It's Our Future campaign

A $1-million donation has been handed over in support of the new South Niagara hospital, for the Niagara Health Foundation and It's our Future campaign.

It's courtesy of Michael and Jana Katz, who say they want to help find the best people, equipment and hospital.

Lynn Guerriero, President and CEO of Niagara Health, adds the CT in diagnostic imaging will be named "The Katz Scanner."

Andrea Scott, President and CEO of the Niagara Health Foundation says this donation ensures Niagara has a world class health care system, attracting top talent and cutting edge equipment.
