The Horseshoe Falls will turn purple, to shine a light on gender based violence.
The iconic landmark will change colour for 15 minutes starting at 10:00 p.m. tonight, to honour the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence.
The national campaign kicked off yesterday and will end on December 10th, also known as International Human Rights Day.
Two of the Peace Bridge arches turned purple last night.
Yesterday also happened to be International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
