Scotiabank and Tim Hortons pulling support
It appears the list of sponsors pausing support of Hockey Canada is growing.
Media reports say Scotiabank is the latest corporation to do so, over criticism of the league's handling of alleged sexual assaults and the way money was paid out in lawsuits.
Scotiabank says in a statement this will happen next year, including the world junior tournament.
Tim Hortons announced yesterday it won't sponsor any Hockey Canada men's programming this season, including the world junior men's championship in Halifax and Moncton.
Hockey Quebec says it's not going to send money to Hockey Canada.
