Whirlpool Trail closed due to safety concerns
The Niagara Parks Commission and Parks Police are reminding the public to obey signs when it comes to trails.
As more visitors are expected as the holiday weekend approaches the two agencies are tweeting out a reminder for hikers to obey signs and stay on the marked trails and not to climb retaining walls.
The Whirlpool Trail is closed due to a risk of falling rock and fluctuating water levels.
