Tuesday morning update: Officers assisting a person in distress on Chestnut Lane.
Update 6:30am, Tuesday:
Waiting for an update from police as to what was happening in a St. Catharines neighbourhood.
They were called late yesterday afternoon to Chestnut Lane, in response to a call about a person in distress.
The public is being asked to stay away from the area.
Officers are on scene in the area of Chestnut Lane in St. Catharines responding to a person in distress.
