Cooler airmass is expected Thursday night
A heat warning has been issued for the Niagara Region.
Environment Canada says a hot and humid airmass is expected to arrive today with maximum daytime temperatures of 30 to 32 degrees, humidex values will be near 40.
We won't get much relief at night as temperatures are expected to stay about 20 degrees.
A cooler airmass is expected to arrive Thursday night.
As always during extreme heat events, the elderly, small children and people with disabilities should take precautions to avoid dehydration or heat stroke.
Never leave children or pets in parked vehicles.
