Father taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after shooting killed one son and left another critically injured.
A man who had been kidnapped early this morning has been located following a fatal shooting involving his two sons in Hamilton.
Hamilton police say just before 3:00 a.m., crews were called to a shooting at a home near Glancaster and Dickenson roads in Mount Hope.
The two brothers, both in their 20's, were found to be suffering from gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
One of the men later died in hospital.
Their father, 63 year old Faqir Ali, was found around 9:00 a.m. on Beach Boulevard near the lift bridge in Hamilton after being forcefully taken from the home in a dark SUV.
He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Detectives say the three men lived together at the home, and no information on suspects has been released.
Police believe this was a targeted incident, and the Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
