Hamilton Man Charged in Lincoln Shooting

Suspect in custody, 8 shots fired at house will occupants slept

An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting in Lincoln.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on May 20th on Central Avenue between John Street and Jackson Street.

A man driving a white Hyundai Santa Fe SUV fired about eight shots at a house while the occupants were sleeping.

Police say nobody was hurt.

20 year old Salomon Bashir of Hamilton has been identified as the shooter.

He is currently in the custody of Ontario Correctional Services on an unrelated case.

He'll appear in court on November 6th.
