Hamilton Bulldogs forward Mason McTavish named Team Canada captain.
A member of the Hamilton Bulldogs will wear the "C" for Canada at the 2022 World Juniors.
Hockey Canada has announced Mason McTavish will be the team's captain for the tournament.
"It’s such an honour," McTavish says. "There’s so many great leaders in there but I’m super grateful and super humbled to have this opportunity."
Last year, McTavish was Canada's captain at the Under 18 World Championships, leading the team to gold.
The 2022 World Juniors begins August 9th, and Canada's first game will be August 10th against Latvia.
