It’s back to work for some of the employees at the St. Catharines GM plant today.
They’re going to restart a portion of the HFV6 assembly line, but Unifor Chairperson Tim McKinnon says they will have to follow new protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Each employee will have their temperature checked once they arrive, they will also have to wear a mask and they must stand at least two metres apart from each other.
They will also have to sanitize their hands and plexiglass shields will be installed in some areas.
