Niagara drivers will benefit from the lowest gasoline prices of the summer on this Labour Day holiday weekend.
Gas prices in Niagara will drop a little more this long weekend.
Dan McTeague of Canadians for Affordable Energy says prices will drop by two cents a litre in southern Ontario tomorrow.
This will bring the average price of gas to 147.9 cents a litre.
Meanwhile, gas prices across the country are currently lower than they have been since late February.
Natural Resources Canada says the national average retail price for gas yesterday was 161.9 cents a litre, which is down from a peak of $2.15 a litre in June.
The drop is being attributed to the falling price of crude oil and motorists cutting back on driving to save money.
