The funeral for former lieutenant governor David Onley will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church in Toronto. It will be livestreamed on the province's YouTube page.
TORONTO - The 28th lieutenant governor of Ontario will be laid to rest today.
David Onley's funeral will be taking place at Toronto's Yorkminster Park Baptist Church. Premier Doug Ford's office says the ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. and there will be limited seating for the public on a first-come basis.
Those who are unable to attend the ceremony in person will be able to livestream it online here.
Onley was known for being a champion of disability rights both during and after his time as Ontario's lieutenant governor. He passed away on January 14th at the age of 72.
