The City of Niagara Falls has decided to close it's Municipal Service Centre on Stanley Ave, due to fuel leak.
It has been closed for a little over a week now.
All staff members have been relocated to other buildings for the time being.
They will be able to return once the building has been deemed safe.
Officials say the office workers will likely be allowed to return before garage staff.
The City is working with the Ministry of the Environment on remediation.
They're removing fuel tanks and cleaning up fuel spills.
Director of Municipal Works Erik Nickel has not released a cost estimate at this time.
