Algae, e. coli found
If you're planning to go swimming this weekend, there's a few beaches in Niagara you may want to avoid.
Niagara Region Public Health says Waverly Beach in Fort Erie is unsafe due to the presence of algae.
You also can't swim at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln, Queen's Royal Beach in Niagara-on-the-Lake, or Reebs Bay in Wainfleet due to high levels of e. coli.
Factors such as weather conditions and wildlife can have an impact on test results.
