Lincoln now has the most active cases of COVID-19 in Niagara thanks to a workplace outbreak.
Public Health reported a record breaking 63 new cases yesterday and 45 of them were connected to the agricultural operation.
Officials say the risk to the public is minimal because it doesn't have public facing operations.
Niagara now has 279 active cases of the virus and our death toll remains at 77.
We have 15 active outbreaks across the Region and five of them are in healthcare facilities.
Three people are currently being treated for the virus in our local Niagara Health hospitals.
