Enbridge purchasing training materials for Fort Erie Fire Department.
The Fort Erie Fire Department is getting support from Enbridge Gas.
Through the Safe Community Project Assist program, fire departments in communities where the business operates will get firefighting training materials.
"At Enbridge Gas, safety is our priority. We’re proud to support Ontario firefighters who share our commitment to keeping our communities safe," says Bike Balkanci, Director GTA West/Niagara Operations, Enbridge Gas.
This year, a $250,000 donation from Enbridge Gas will be split between 50 Ontario fire departments.
Since the project launched in 2014, 244 grants have been provided to fire departments throughout Ontario for additional firefighter training.
