Judge says paid can resist summons on basis of parliamentary privilege.
Premier Doug Ford and Deputy Premier Sylvia Jones will not have to testify at the Emergencies Act inquiry.
The decision was made by Federal Court Justice Simon Fothergill.
He says the summons to the pair is valid, but they have the right to resist, due to parliamentary privilege.
The commission is looking into the federal government's use of the Emergencies Act to end "Freedom Convoy" demonstrations that took place in Ottawa and Windsor earlier this year.
