Wage and rent subsidies to continue
The Trudeau government says it will offer wage and rent subsidies to business owners in the tourism, culture and hospitality sectors hurting from the pandemic.
The assistance will also be offered to movie theatres, arcades, casinos and gyms.
The Liberals also introduced legislation yesterday to give workers who find themselves off the job because of a COVID related public lockdown in their region, $300 a week between now and the spring of 2022.
