Niagara Parks is reminding you to stay home and help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The comments come after hundreds of people flocked to the Region over the weekend to enjoy the nice weather.
Niagara Parks says the safest way to enjoy the outdoors is to stay within your own community and keep a two metre physical distance from others.
Public spaces owned by Niagara Parks are still open for walk-through access only.
All amenities are still closed including public washrooms, park benches, picnic tables and playgrounds.
Niagara Parks Police will continue to patrol the parkway, reminding people of the health and safety measures and enforcing the province’s emergency orders.
