Niagara Regional Police release latest driving stats.
Eight people are facing impaired driving charges following R.I.D.E. checks in Niagara.
Police say the arrests were made between April 4th and April 10th.
Charges were laid for impaired driving by drugs or alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.
Each person also received a 90 day license suspension.
The individuals include two people each from Welland and Niagara Falls, and one person each from Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake, London and St. Catharines.
