It's a day off for elementary students in the District School Board of Niagara and beyond.
The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario is holding a one-day strike today, targeting every public elementary school in the province.
The union will also hold a one-day rotating strike in Niagara tomorrow.
The ETFO has also announced another province-wide strike for Tuesday, February 11th, if a deal is not reached with the province beforehand.
Another rotating, one-day strike is planned for Niagara next Tuesday.
These strikes will not affect high school students in the DSBN, or students with the Niagara Catholic District School Board.
