Public elementary schools in Niagara will be closed on Thursday.
The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario is staging rotating one-day strikes beginning today.
The DSBN says teachers at all public elementary schools in Niagara will walk off the job on Thursday.
Parents are encouraged to have other childcare arrangements in place.
Elementary schools will re-open for classes on Friday.
This walk-out does not impact public high schools.
