Police say the truck hit 2 other vehicles in St. Catharines yesterday on Martindale Road by the QEW, he was linked to 4 other crimes
The driver of a stolen pickup truck has been charged after a collision in St. Catharines yesterday.
Police were called at around 10am, to the scene on Martindale Road and the QEW overpass, to find three vehicles involved.
Police learned the stolen truck was speeding on Martindale when the driver lost control, and hit two on-coming vehicles.
All three vehicles significantly damaged, but no injuries.
Police arrested 34-year old Joseph Brady of no fixed address at the scene, and found he was linked to four other crimes under NRP watch, all since Friday.
He was charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (five counts)
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Theft Under $5000 (three counts)
- Break and Enter a Non-Dwelling with Intent
He had a bail hearing today.
