Police say over $50,000 in jewelry taken Christmas Eve in Niagara Falls
Police have tracked down a suspect wanted for a break and enter in Niagara Falls back on Christmas Eve.
They were called to a home, to find someone broke a window, entered the building and stole $35,000 in Canadian money.
The thief also took:
- $35,000 of Canadian currency
- Rolex two tone men’s watch worth (Value $21,000)
- Rolex submariner watch (Value: $20,000)
- Tissot women’s watch ($1,000)
- Three rings (Value: $4,000 each)
- Tag Carrera watch (Value: $5,000)
Police collected DNA at the scene, and earlier today arrested 47-year old Philip Williams of St. Catharines, he's in police custody with a bail hearing tomorrow.
Police add the stolen items are still lost, and ask for public assistance to find them.
