Province's top doctor has 1:00 news conference scheduled
We will find out today, who is next on the list to receive a COVID-19 booster shot.
Dr. Kieran Moore, Chief Medical Officer of Health, is scheduled to make an announcement on Ontario’s rollout of booster doses this afternoon at 1:00.
This comes after the National Advisory Committee on Immunization expanded eligibility guidelines for booster shots in Canada.
The guidelines say adults aged 70-79, people who have received two doses of AstraZeneca, adults in First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities and adults who are front line health care workers who received first and second doses three to four weeks apart are eligible for a third dose.
