Advanced Hospital Information System designed to ultimately improve how they deliver care.
Niagara Health and Hotel Dieu Shaver are set to begin using a new, advanced Hospital Information System designed to improve how they deliver care.
Niagara Health says the move to a state-of-the-art system will enhance coordination, efficiency and access to information and ultimately make patient care faster and safer.
The new system is set to go live early tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
In a release the health system warns of some possible delays as their teams adjust.
During this transition, their online Emergency Department wait time clock will be temporarily offline for a minimum of two weeks to allow for integration into the new system.
To support patients, Niagara Health will have volunteers to assist with any questions.
