Monacled cobra among collection of reptiles in home
The investigation continues into the discovery of venomous snake and other prohibited reptiles at a Welland home which was the scene of a sudden death.
When police arrived at the home on Crowland Avenue Monday night, they discovered a Cobra along with a dozen other snakes and three lizards most of them illegal in the city.
Officials from London Reptiles and Reptile Kingdom Canada on Highway 20 in Thorold, were called in to help remove the animals.
If no one comes forward to claim them, they will be moved to either a zoo or aquarium.
