A new CAO has been named for the City of St. Catharines.
David Oakes will take the role over from current CAO Shelley Chemnitz, who is about to retire.
Oakes will leave his current position as Deputy CAO and take over his new job on August 1st.
He joined the City in 2000 as a Community Development Officer, and has also served as Director of Economic Development and Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture Services.
