Crash in Grimsby Sends Teen to Hospital

Teen suffers serious injuries after bike and pickup truck collide

A 13 year old is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Grimsby.

Around 11:00 p.m. Sunday night, emergency crews were called to Christie Street near the QEW off-ramp.

Police say the teen was hit by a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck while riding his bike.

He was taken to an out of region hospital.

The truck driver, a 34 year old man, wasn't hurt.

No charges have been laid, and it's not known what caused the crash.

The QEW off ramp and Christie Street were closed during the investigation.

The investigation continues, and police are asking witnesses to give them a call at 905-688-4111.
