Police say a woman was trafficked for sexual purposes
A man and woman have been arrested in connection to a human trafficking investigation by police.
Niagara Regional police say they recently began looking into the trafficking of a woman for sexual purposes.
As a result, yesterday they arrested 22-year old Kendra Karen Candler and 28-year old Lavelle Taitt, both of St. Catharines, and charged them both with a number of offenses.
They are in police custody, pending a bail hearing today.
Police add there could be other victims, and ask you to call them should you have any information that could help.
