Counties in Western New York May Get Millions Under Biden Relief Plan

Erie and Niagara counties may get just under $800 million as part of President Joe Biden's America Rescue Plan.

Congressman Brian Higgins' office says that the proposed $1.9 trillion COVID relief package includes $792 million for the two counties.

If passed, $324 million would go to the City of Buffalo, and $55 million would go to Niagara Falls.

Erie County would get $180 million, and Niagara County would get $41 million.

The plan proposes $350 billion for state and local governments across the country.
