Joe Kushner expects full recovery after doctors removed tumour

Some encouraging news from a St. Catharines city councillor.

St. Andrew's Joe Kushner says he is home recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumour, and expects a full recovery.

Mayor Mat Siscoe issued a statement that the councillor was not at the council meeting Monday night because he was at the Hamilton General for the successful operation.

The mayor added everyone wishes Kushner the very best as he returns to good health.

Residents of St. Andrew's ward are encouraged to reach out to Councillor Matt Harris for any concerns.
