Volunteer groups in St. Catharines can now sign up to run an outdoor ice rink this winter.
The city has decided to bring back it's Community Ice Rink Pilot Project this year.
The chosen groups will be in charge of building, operating and maintaining their rink in a park of their choice.
The city will cover training and provide all of the signage.
Groups have until 4:00 p.m. on Friday October 9th to apply.
