Fifty-five year old Steven Snively and 32 year old Christopher Marchant stand accused of failing to provide the necessitiies of life to Yosif Al-Hasnawi.
Both have pleaded not guilty.
The 19 year old was shot on the evening of December 2nd, 2017 with a .22 caliber handgun.
He died in hospital about an hour later.
