Thorold residents are being asked not to park on the street during winter storms.
The City is making this request in order to accommodate the clearing of snow on streets.
They say that you can temporarily park on driveway aprons to make room for snow plows.
You're also reminded that you're not allowed to park on the street for more than 12 hours at a time, or park in any way that hinders winter maintenance operations.
The City says that in order to ensure the safety of roadways, the by-law will be enforced to the fullest extent necessary.
