The initiative will prohibit parking on the street during winter storms.
The parking ban is being enforced to assist city crews with safely removing snow.
The City will declare a S'No Parking ban based on forecasted weather as well as wind, temperature and road conditions.
Residents should plan to park off the street for three days when a S'No Parking ban is in effect.
Citizens who continue to park on the street during the bans will face a $30 fine and risk being towed.
Members of the public will be notified of S'No Parking bans via the City's website, the Pingstreet app and social media.
Free overnight parking is available at the Ontario Street and Carlisle Street/Garden Park parking garages.
